Experience the Vatican’s wonders on a guided group tour with skip-the-line access to both the Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica. With group sizes capped at 20 travelers, you’ll move efficiently through one of the world’s most visited sites — without sacrificing comfort or insight.

Your professional English-speaking guide will lead you through the Vatican’s most celebrated collections, sharing the stories and context behind each space and artwork. Stroll through highlights like the Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, the Gallery of the Candelabra, the Gallery of the Tapestries, and the Gallery of the Maps. You’ll also visit remarkable rooms such as the Greek Cross Room, the Round Room, and the Room of the Muses.

The tour culminates inside the breathtaking Sistine Chapel, where your guide will explain the significance of Michelangelo’s masterpieces before you enter to experience them in silence and awe.

At the end of your visit, benefit from exclusive access to St. Peter’s Basilica through a special fast-track passageway that bypasses the long lines. Please note that your guide will not accompany you inside the Basilica, allowing you time to discover this magnificent church on your own.

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, including but not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

At the end of your tour Skip the Line acccess directly to St. Peter's Basilica from the Vatican Museums will be provided. No guided tour will be provided inside but you will be free to explore on your own.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are allowed in almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. Please note that bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment, such as tripods, large video equipments, and equipment backpacks, will not be permitted inside the Museums.

To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.

Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.
