45 min of the 2.5 hr tour was waiting in line
45 min of the 2.5 hr tour was waiting in line, despite the tickets being labeled as quick entry. Guide was nice but not very dynamic or high energy. So the tour felt like a long list of facts (vs engaged story telling).

Excellent, informative guide from EcoArt
I booked a trip to the Borghese for completeness without really having much idea what to expect. The online pictures and videos don’t do justice to the collection. A cardinal’s palace and very much in the vein of the Vatican collection just scaled down a little. Excellent, informative guide from EcoArt with a training in art history and a bit of welcome irreverence. Well worth the effort of the visit and the price of a guided tour. Good cafe and restroom facilities. The only disappointment was timed admission and timed exit - two hours isn’t long in there.
