Meet us directly at the port of Anzio, where you'll receive your ferry tickets. The scenic ferry ride to Ponza takes approximately 1.5 hours.

Upon arrival, join a small group guided boat excursion led by your English-speaking tour leader and set off on a 6 hours cruise around the stunning island.

Marvel at dramatic cliffs, mysterious grottoes, and crystal clear waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea. We'll make 3–4 swim stops along the way, with exact locations depending on sea conditions.

A delicious pasta lunch is served on board, accompanied by wine, drinks, water, fruit and espresso coffee.

You will be amazed by the wonderful sea and the charming port of Ponza, with its characteristic colourful little houses.

Come from Rome to do this trip stay on the island and ask for a pool noodle

We throughly enjoyed this boat trip after 5 days in Rome it was a welcome change in scenery The water was crystal clear the boat had an upper deck that we could just lie on and we had 5 swim stops The Island of Ponza is really beautiful and the tour was interesting as well our travel companions said it was nicer than the Amalfi tour they did We stayed in Nettuno and it was fairly easy to get to Anzio by train and then take the ferry to ponza but check the train times in advance because there are not a lot of taxis in this region We also brought snacks because the reviews said the food wasnt good but we enjoyed the pasta it was simple but sometimes thats all you need and they will keep giving you food and wine so dont worry about being hungry The snorkeling is okay there are a lot of fish but they are all the same colour and theres no coral or anything so if you dont get the snorkel option youd be okay most of the beautiful sights are above the water Also they had pool noodles which I recommend using because one of the swim spots is a little choppy and also its just nicer to float and relax sometimes Also there was this American who found himself exhausted and couldnt make it back to the boat so my partner gave him his pool noodle and swam back but if we hadnt been there I dont know what would have happened to him Just ask for a pool noodle dont be embarrassed to ask Im not sure how expensive it is to stay on Ponza we did not we took the ferry home but I would have liked too if I had known how beautiful the island is

Starting Point

To the left of the Laziomar Ticket Office (Biglietteria) in Piazzale Sant'Antonio in port of Anzio. Your tour leader will be holding a sign stating "EcoArt"

If you are planning to arrive to Anzio by train, please note that the departure location is a 10-15 minute walk from Anzio's train station. Consult a map before departing.

8:15 AM Meet your tour leader at the ferry ticket office.

08:45 AM Departure time of fast boat transfer to Ponza Port

10:15 AM Arrival in Ponza Island Port

10:30 AM Breakfast in Ponza Island (May be moved to Port of Departure if time permits)

11:00 AM Departure for Boat Tour of the Island with Swim Stops

04:00 PM Return to Ponza Port + Free Time in Ponza Island Port

05:45 PM Departure for Port with fast boat transfer

07:45 PM Arrival in Port, end of service

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  •  Meeting time is strictly at 10:30 AM and the tour cannot wait for late arrivals
  •  Last minute cancellations due to sea and weather conditions are possible. Please call the tour operator the day before your scheduled tour to check the tour will proceed as scheduled
  •  If you have special dietary restrictions or allergies, please note alternatives are not provided and you will need to provide your own lunch
  •  Please bring your bathing suit, towel and sun protection
  •  Bring your own snorkeling equipment if you intend to snorkel (not required)
  • • It is strongly suggested you be a reasonably strong swimmer to derive the maximum enjoyment from this tour
  •  If you are traveling with young children, you must provide flotation devices if required
  • All minors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a paying adult.
  • If you are travelling with a young child (0-12), please alert the staff at the time of your booking so that we can better accomodate you.
    We highly recommend you bring sun protection. 
    • Due to the unique nature of this tour, last minute cancellations due to traffic, strikes, weather and other force majeure events are not uncommon. Please call +393459473454 the day before your scheduled departure to confirm the tour will be going forward. For cancellations before departure, a free change of date or full refund will be offered. In rare cases, it may not be possible to foresee a cancellation before departure. In cases where cancellations interrupt the tour after it has already departed, the tour itinerary, locations and timings may be adjusted as needed to offer an alternative of equal value. In such cases, guests may not be entitled to a refund.
