It was well organized, my tour guide was accommodating and very knowledgeable about the area and its history, and they serve you lunch on the boat!...

Ponza Day Trip - Incredible!

I cannot convey how amazing EcoArt's day trip to Ponza is. We just took this trip halfway through a weeklong trip to Rome with our two kids, ages 9 and 11. And while Rome is spectacular, Ponza felt like paradise on earth. It's a craggy yet beautiful island on the Tyrrhenian Sea, surrounded by the clearest, bluest water I've ever seen. With EcoArt, we explored the entire island by fishing boat: Kimberly, our guide, worked with the captain to pick choice swimming and snorkeling spots, shared geologic and historical info along the way, and even made sure our youngest had a floater in the water. We all had a blast; my kids both claimed it was "the best family outing we've ever had." Finally, I should also add that Kimberly--in addition to being super friendly and knowledgable about Ponza and Lazio--made all the logistics work. The bus and ferry and boat rides were all coordinated perfectly--not an easy feat in Italy. So go to Ponza!! You'll love it and the tour EcoArt has put together

Best day trip out of Rome

Kimberly was amazing. Knew when to inform us and when to give us time to relax. She was incredibly informative and knowledgeable, giving us historical information, architectural tips, geological info and general knowledge of the ecosystems. The island itself is picturesque. Cerulean blue waters with incredible clarity. Snorkeling is a must. Definitely would do again, best day trip out of Rome. Thanks to the eco travel team.

A delightful and relaxing excursion.

We have just returned from a delightful day with Kimberly at Ponza Island. What a charming and knowledgeable guide is Kimberly. From the moment we met, Kimberly made us comfortable and kept things running like clockwork. Ponza Island is stunningly beautiful and surprisingly unspoiled - towering cliffs, warm blue water, and accessible Roman history. Captain Lucca brought us within arms reach of grotto walls and deposited us in calm swimming areas along the coast.

A day in paradise! (Ponza Boat Tour)

This trip was the perfect way to end our visit to Rome! We found this tour on Trip Advisor and after seeing some of the reviews and photos, we felt compelled to do it. Best decision we'd ever made. The whole tour was just perfect! It was well organised, by Kimberly, a very friendly and helpful member of the EcoArt team - who took care of everything! Breakfast was a bit small, so we would recommend taking some snacks and plenty of water. However, lunch on board is provided and is a delicious homemade Italian pasta. Ponza Island is beautiful! The boat stops off in three locations and the sea literally invites you to jump in! You are in the sun all day, so remember lots of suncream! Also, a selfiestick really does come in handy for all you selfie takers! The early morning and lengthy travelling is definitely worth it. We wish we could go back to this paradise!
