Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

When available, Skip the Line Access to St. Peter's Basilica will be automatically provided at no extra cost. No guided tour will be provided. Please note that the Basilica is a separate venue to the Vatican Museums, is free to enter and does not require a ticket. It is not possible to always guarantee access to the Basilica, which may close with little or no notice.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are allowed in almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. Please note that bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment, such as tripods, large video equipments, and equipment backpacks, will not be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Gratuity is not included and is left to individual discretion.

  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Vatican and Sistine Chapel tour

So as a surprise I booked a small group tour of the Vatican museum and Sistine Chapel with Ecoart through bookingcon our guide Sara was an absolute treasure her knowledge and information shared was inspiring and uplifting I believe she enjoyed our company and went above and beyond sharing and showing us more than included I would totally recommend doing this type of tour rather than a solo one as honestly youd get lost it is mind blowing all the art the history the statues tapestries rooms plus we were able to exit down the royal stairs into St Peters square and the basilica which is unbelievable and you should not visit Rome without this tour on your to do list thank you grazia Sara and Ecoart via bookingcom

I would highly recommend this tour and this company Our guide Adriano was excellent He was very knowledgeable his English was exceptional and he kept us entertained and informed all throughout the tour The arrangements to meet were very clear and everything ran as per the guidance laid out The guide arrived at the time stated
