Your guide will lead you through highlights such as the Pinecone Courtyard, The Gallery of the Candelabra and the Maps, Raphael's Rooms, the Sistine Chapel, and more. Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

When available, Skip the Line Access to St. Peter's Basilica will be automatically provided at no extra cost. No guided tour will be provided. Please note that the Basilica is a separate venue to the Vatican Museums, is free to enter and does not require a ticket. It is not possible to always guarantee access to the Basilica, which may close with little or no notice.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are allowed in almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. Please note that bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment, such as tripods, large video equipments, and equipment backpacks, will not be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Gratuity is not included and is left to individual discretion.

  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 72 hours before your original departure time and date. Lindy was Amazing Her knowledge of Vatican history and insights into the culture provided us with an excellent experience We were able to take so many photographs which will be great memories for us

Fun and informative tour

Absolutely fantastic tour Jeanette was superb Her knowledge and passion for the subject matter was outstanding and she made the tour fun and so memorable for my mum who was celebrating her 80th We all had a brilliant time

Brilliant and engaging tour

lessia our small group tour guide was excellent She was well informed engaging cheerful humourous patient and very knowledgeable She guided us expertly through the crowds and exhibits focussing on some of the most remarkable highlights She also provided fascinating historical context and information on Michaelangelo Raphael Pope Julius Ii and St Peters And she provided a brilliant visual and illustrated tutorial on what to look for in the Sistine Chapel before we entered We most highly recommend this tour particularly with Alessia Dan and Debbie
