Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

When available,Skip the Line Access to St. Peter's Basilica will be automatically provided at no extra cost. No guided tour will be provided. Please note that the Basilica is a separate venue to the Vatican Museums, is free to enter and does not require a ticket. It is not possible to always guarantee access to the Basilica, which may close with little or no notice.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Walking tour around the Vatican

Marcello Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly He took our small group around with care and attention and made it a worthwhile tour We met in the steps outside the Vatican which was clear and straight forward My only recommendation would be to avoid the pressure sales man on the steps pressurising disoriented tourists into an appalling so called Italian restaurant The Muse Stay well away from there whilst waiting for your guide as the food was really poor The meal was cold and the toilets were disgusting

Excellent tour company and guide Maria Laura

The whole experience was amazing I received detailed instructions ahead of time our tour guide Maria Laura was phenomenal and the whole experience was just perfect I have 4 kids and they were all enthralled with her guidance it was neat as a parent to see them so very engaged in learning about history
