Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.


Ending Point

Vatican Museums or St. Peter's Basilica (depending on option selected)

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries,Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.

Choose an option that includes Skip the Line Access to St. Peter's Basilica to enjoy a direct route from the Vatican Museums. No guided tour will be provided. Please note that the Basilica is a separate venue to the Vatican Museums.


Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.

    • Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date.     Art beauty and culture from wall to wall

    Monica was very considerate with people needing extra time for mobility The 2 minutes breaks we have for pictures were great The day of the visit the Museum was crowded and our guide was attentive to all of us Monica was very knowledgeable and dynamic

    You wont regret this tour

    We could not be more thankful that we booked this tour The experience was seamless from beginning to end and we absolutely adored our guide Maria Laura The meeting point was easy to find we even grabbed a quick cappuccino across the street before it began Once we met our guide we walked across the street to the entrances where we were led to a special line for guided tour groups only While we did have to wait for about 1015 minutes this is the line to go through security and officially enter Vatican City our amazing guide kept it interesting She gave us background information and explained what would happen on the tour making the initial wait time pass quickly If you can book the earliest tours available Our time was at 830am and were told that by 1011 it becomes a madhouse Once we made it through security Laura expertly navigated through the museums hitting the highlights providing amazing information and answering our questions Quick note they provide headsets that attach to your ear allowing you to hear your guide even in the crowded spaces if you are not directly next to them Great accessibility The best part about this tour was our easy entry to the Sistine Chapel and St Peters Basilica We went straight in from the museums and did not have to wait in an additional line to enter Since you are not permitted to speak in the Sistine Chapel Laura explained the details ahead of time before we entered This was great because it allowed us to notice the details that she taught us while we observed later on I cannot express enough how worth the money this tour was The small group of 10 is also DEFINITELY worth it it is so crowded inside that I couldnt imagine navigating and staying together with a larger group This tour is highly rated and highly recommended for a reason EcoArt hires amazing guides and creates a wonderful experience Thank you Maria Laura and EcoArt for a wonderful morning and once in a lifetime experience I will always remember my first trip to Vatican City fondly

    Great tour with a delightful guide

    We had a wonderful guided tour with Martina She was very knowledgeable and funny Gave great details and kept it engaging Would want her to do all our tours Highly recommend the early access tour as the line moved quick and was a huge plus with the morning sun heat
