About the tour
Embark on a 5-hour intimate boat tour around Ponza Island, Italy—designed for a small group of no more than 12 guests. Your experience begins at the charming Ponza Port, where you'll meet your friendly English-speaking tour leader. They'll take care of all the logistics so you can relax and enjoy the adventure ahead.
After a brief chance to explore the island’s colorful harbor, you'll board a traditional boat helmed by a seasoned Ponzan captain. With your expert guide on hand to translate and share local legends, you’ll uncover the island’s rich history and hidden treasures as you cruise its stunning coastline.
Sail around the entire island and take in Ponza’s most iconic natural wonders: the mysterious Grotte di Pilato, Roman fish ponds carved into the cliffs; the dramatic crescent of Chiaia di Luna beach; the striking Punta di Capo Bianco; and the Arco Naturale, a majestic arch sculpted by the sea.
You'll stop at tranquil coves like Cala dell’Acqua and Cala Fonte, perfect for swimming and snorkeling in crystal-clear waters.
Midway through the cruise, enjoy a leisurely, freshly prepared lunch on board. Your captain will serve friselle with ripe tomatoes, a flavorful seafood pasta, seasonal fruit, dessert, and espresso—accompanied by local wine and sea breezes. It’s a culinary moment to savor, made even more special by the relaxed company of a small group and the beauty that surrounds you.
Optional upgrade: Rent a professional snorkel set (mask and snorkel) to make the most of each swim stop.
