Cap off your visit with a special entrance to the Sistine Chapel, where your guide will prepare you to admire Michelangelo's greatest masterpiece.

Your insider guide will optimize your visit on the day of your tour ensuring you witness the Vatican Museum's most important highlights.

Ideal for first-timers to the Vatican, this tour covers the Vatican Museums; Sistine Chapel, including, but not limited to, the Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, and the Gallery of the Maps.

At the conclusion of your tour, if you have chosen an option that explicitly includes it, you will enjoy skip-the-line access to St. Peter's Basilica, where you will be free to explore on your own.

We had a fantastic tour with Assunta She gave us a very detailed tour of the Vatican museums something you have to spend ages in a queue to visit Assunta took her time and told us so much interesting information and left us to spend time along in the Sistine Chapel

Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.


Ending Point

Vatican Museums or St. Peter's Basilica (depending on option selected)

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

Choose an option that includes Skip the Line Access to St. Peter's Basilica to enjoy a direct route from the Vatican Museums. No guided tour will be provided. Please note that the Basilica is a separate venue to the Vatican Museums.


Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

    • Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date.     Very good experience

    We had an amazing time exploring the Vatican museum with our guide Laura She was very knowledgeable and friendly and navigated us through the crowds The art work is awe inspiring and she helped understand the intent and meaning of some of the most important ones

    Great guideeasy access 1030am tour

    Catalina was a great guide with a wonderful personality and extremely knowledgeable She kept it light and humorous and energetic My 17yo son and I really enjoyed this tour The security line was the only line and it seemed really long but moved VERY quickly and we were inside in no time There is a lot to see and she kept the energy up and was very engaging with all questions She is an excellent guide
