Vatican Sistine Chapel and Basilica is well worth it

This tour was great If in Rome you almost feel like you have to see the Sistine Chapel We booked our tour through Viator Our guide was named Oscar and was awesome The amount of information he gave was amazing He was open to any question and his English was great The tour of the Vatican museum as very crowded but thats just the way it is with this tour I felt like herded cattle at times but we kept moving The Sistine Chapel upon entering we were told no photos and they stressed being quiet Our time was 20 minutes in there and that was enough time Oscar had described certain scenes before we went in that helped once we got into the Chapel After we left the Chapel we walked out to St Peters Basilica Thats where the guided tour part stopped and we had time to go into St Peters Basilica on our own It was well worth the trip It was the most amazing church Ive gone into The sheer size and how ornate it is was overwhelming After our time in the Basilica we stopped by the Vatican City post office and mailed a few postcards and then walked around the square Id recommend this trip and tour as I feel if you just went on your own there would be so much information youd miss

Thank you Oscar for an Excellent Tour

It was so valuable to have a tour and Oscar was an excellent guide We would have missed out on so much if we didnt have Oscar narrating us through history It was also so worth paying to skip the line When we arrived at the Vatican at 1015 there was already a three hour wait
