Cap off your visit with a special entrance to the Sistine Chapel, where your guide will prepare you to admire Michelangelo's greatest masterpiece.

Your insider guide will optimize your visit on the day of your tour ensuring you witness the Vatican Museum's most important highlights.

Ideal for first-timers to the Vatican, this tour covers the Vatican Museums; Sistine Chapel, including, but not limited to, the Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, and the Gallery of the Maps.

At the conclusion of your tour, if you have chosen an option that explicitly includes it, you will enjoy skip-the-line access to St. Peter's Basilica, where you will be free to explore on your own.

We had an amazing experience with Ilaria from EcoArt as our tour guide for the Vatican and St Peters Basilica She was incredibly knowledgeable not only about the museum and its art but also shared fascinating historical insights beyond the tour itself Her passion and intelligence made the experience unforgettable Highly recommend her if youre visiting Rome

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

Choose an option that includes Skip the Line Access to St. Peter's Basilica to enjoy a direct route from the Vatican Museums. No guided tour will be provided. Please note that the Basilica is a separate venue to the Vatican Museums.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Fun and informative

Fantastic tour of the Vatican museums and sistine chapel Martina had a real gift for sharing her knowledge in a light and fun way Her humorous approach even engaged our teenage daughters Be warned if you have limited mobility as there are a lot of stairs with minimal places to stop and sit Martina paced the tour well though and was very considerate of varying needs in the group Her energy and infectious enthusiasm made a nearly 3 hour tour fly by and it was a tour that definitely added value to our trip to Rome Highly recommend

Fantastic Better than expected

Our guide Loreley was fantastic So glad we took advantage of the skip the line guided tour Not overly long and very interesting Very knowledgeable guide When we left we could see hundreds of visitors lined up to enter and were super happy to have made our decision Its well worth it
