Many many marble steps to the Sistine Chapel but go for it The 800 am tour is not too crowded and our guide Elana was awesome She told us what to expect each part of the tour pointed out bathrooms on the tour She was always easy to find because she gave clear concise instructions Her knowledge of the Vatican areas university level I highly recommend her tour Elana from Milan

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are allowed in almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. Please note that bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment, such as tripods, large video equipments, and equipment backpacks, will not be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.

Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Very happy tourist

Fabio was a great tour guide He really explained a lot about the art we saw in the museum He kept track of everyone before moving forward made sure we stayed together as a group since there were a lot of people there He really knew his information Very good tour

Enjoyable informative tour

My husband I booked a small group tour of the Vatican museums Sistine Chapel through Viator Our tour guide Oscar provided an informative enjoyable tour kept in close contact with his small group through the large crowds I would recommend this tour to experience the Vatican avoid the long queue for tickets admission to St Peters Basilica especially in hot weather

Nothing can phase Adriano This tour was perfect

Adriano was top tier His demeanor poise and ability to guide us through our experience left nothing to be desired Skipping the line for this tour was key Seeing the long lines wrap around the Vatican walls was daunting at first glance followed by excitement that we would not have to wait I would like to share an AboveandBeyond moment with you Early in the tour my Father had forgotten to pick up his camera from the Security Checkpoint Adriano handled it gave us the option to delay the tour which we did not or to get the camera after which we did it was at the lost and found waiting for us and I hope he knows that there was no better way to solve that situation Much respect to him The tour itself was brilliant He knew so much and shared all of it with us with great clarity To be so packed into the roomsstairwellscourtyards with so many people and to find calm in the chaos by listening to him detail out such interesting points was priceless I would recommend this tour to anyone and I would tell them to cross their fingers in hopes of being paired with Adriano 5 Stars

Evening tour of vatican really nice

Ricardo was a lively and animated guide Very interested in his work and made the experience very pleasurable Tour was a little shorter in time than advertised and the Sistibe chapel was do crowded but not our guides fault Would have liked more time in the map room It was lovely to see the dome of st Peters from the vatican gardens
