800 am tour with Elana

Many many marble steps to the Sistine Chapel but go for it The 800 am tour is not too crowded and our guide Elana was awesome She told us what to expect each part of the tour pointed out bathrooms on the tour She was always easy to find because she gave clear concise instructions Her knowledge of the Vatican areas university level I highly recommend her tour Elana from Milan

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are allowed in almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. Please note that bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment, such as tripods, large video equipments, and equipment backpacks, will not be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Wonderful Tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel

Our Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel tour with Nicoletta was wonderful Nicoletta was so interesting and pointed out so many great things She was considerate and friendly making sure we had a bathroom break before the tour and a water stop at a fountain as well as stopping in the shade to stay out the heat She was easy to follow with her flag and easy to hear with the listening devices we recd from the museum also all of the EcoArt guides were super easy to find when we first met and they were really organized getting everyone in the correct group Nicoletta was such a great guide and I really gained so much by taking her tour and she really made our visit to the Vatican a special experience Thank you

Wonderful Vatican experience

Eddy was exceptional very knowledgeable funny and very helpful He went out of the way to help us out with my daughters ticket as she had lost it before the entrance and finally he was able to secure it by asking a reservation counter on second floor I would highly recommend this travel guide group and especially Eddy

Stunning place of history and beauty a must see

A tour of Vatican City has always been a place my wife and I have wanted to do if we got the chance The tour and our tour guide Oscar did not disappoint He was funny and helped us relate to the monumental effort it took to achieve the magnificent artistry on display The history of the Hall of Tapestries Michelangelo and Rafaello were particularly interesting Oscar showed his integrity and made sure we respected the rules of the Sistine Chapel despite separate tourists groups lacking that respect At the end of the tour of the Vatican Museum Oscar showed us the best way to get into St Peters Basilica and where to find the tomb of the Popes This tour was highly engaging and factual and I would recommend using Oscar and EcoArt To finish skip the line access is necessary The regular queue waiting time was several hours long even in the hottest Roman heatwave on record which is when we visited

Very Knowledgeable Tour Guide

Oscar was the perfect tour guide He knew the history of all of the Popes and was able to explain all of the artwork we passed in the galleries As an Art History teacher I was afraid I would not learn much but there was a huge amount of information that was new to me I highly recommend this tour
