Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Vatican Museums 

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, including but not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.



Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are allowed in almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. Please note that bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment, such as tripods, large video equipments, and equipment backpacks, will not be permitted inside the Museums.


Daily except Sunday

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Informative and enjoyable tour of the Vatican

Would recommend this tour our tour operator was Monica and she was extremely informative and knowledgeable on the Vatican and the artartifacts contained within This tours skips the ticket line into the vatican but not the entry line but this generally moves quickly you will be in in 5 10 mins Also would recommend the early morning tour if youre doing this tour during the height of Summer

Great experience

Thank you for the tour I was doubting if I needed a guide but it was actually the best decision Ive made during my trip Elena is a great guide with a lot of knowledge and a great sense of humor what is not the least Personally totally recommend this experience

Amazing

Oscar was amazing on this tour taking us through the Vatican and Sistine Chapel He provided immense knowledge of every room in the museum and answered any and all questions we had He has a great personality and we very much enjoyed our tour Thanks Oscar

Vatican Museum tour with EcoArt

Giuseppe was absolutely brilliant He had a clear mastery of art history and his many stories and anecdotes about the artists and the works that were on display helped immensely in making us understand why these works were considered masterpieces His calm humor and impeccable English were an added bonus If I could give him 10 stars I would Highly recommended Thanks so much Giuseppe and EcoArt

Booking the Vatican Small Group Skip the Line Tour was great and such a timesaver

There was a huge line to get into the Vatican We were so thankful that we signed up for this Skip the Line small group tour it was a fairly last minute decision Our tour guide Maria Laura was very knowledgeable and enriched our experience during the tour In addition to the guided tour booking the tour also provided us with sufficient time to see the Sistine Chapel on our own and also to tour St Peters at our leisure without waiting in any lines We highly recommend this tour
