Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Vatican Museums 

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, including but not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.



Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are allowed in almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. Please note that bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment, such as tripods, large video equipments, and equipment backpacks, will not be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Fantastic experience

Our tour with Stephano was amazing. Great information about the history and evolution of the Vatican the art as well as religious and political developments over the centuries tailored to our interests. Stephano is a personable and fun guide. Was a Fantastic experience highly recommended

Perfect Tour for Anyone

Finding the meeting area was easy and the instructions given were very clear. We were incredibly lucky to be in a small group of eight people and our guide Eddy was amazing. He knew how to keep everyone engaged and he also shared some very interesting facts about the place and the history. He's funny and witty as well. The tour was well paced and we didn't feel rushed or felt like we didn't get to see enough of what we wanted. He gave us some personal time to take pictures and get to know the other people on the tour. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone. If you're planning on going to the Vatican, this tour is great to checkout.

A great experience

I went on the tour by Oscar. He was very knowledgeable and with his obvious love of art, he explained very clearly just the right amount about what we were looking at, to make it a very enjoyable experience. He told us lots of interesting history too, and he had a lovely sense of bumour. I would thoroughly recommend.

Skip the queues - a great idea

Sara our guide was excellent. She explained the details of all of the artwork we stopped at and the tour was paced perfectly. Note that you do not go in all of the museums as part of the tour, but you have the opportunity to stay in the museum at the end of the tour and self-guide yourselves around the rest so you can stay as long as you like. The ability to skip the line and get into the museums quickly was great as very little queueing. Would recommend.
