Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Vatican Museums 

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, including but not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are allowed in almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. Please note that bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment, such as tripods, large video equipments, and equipment backpacks, will not be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Visit Vatican museum and Sistine chapel

We had a very interesting visit of Vaticaan museum and Sistine Chapel with our guide Guiseppe He made a nice selection of all exposed art for us brought all the information with some humour and as a good guide could answer all extra questions We regret we didnt see the Bramante staircase

Wonderful trip

Assunta is attentive to everyone in the group skillfully noticing each persons needs even in the bustling Vatican Museum She also has an impressive knowledge of history and art The only thing to keep in mind for the group trip is to start your journey to the meeting point at least one hour early due to Romes traffic conditions

A Highlight of My Rome Trip Huge Thanks to Sara EcoArt

I recently joined the Vatican Small Group Stories tour with EcoArt and it was hands down one of the best parts of my time in Rome Sara was our guide and she was absolutely fantasticknowledgeable passionate and genuinely fun to be around She brought so much context and storytelling to the experience which made the history come alive in a way that stuck with me long after the tour ended The group size was perfectnot too bigso it felt personal and easy to ask questions along the way The pace of the tour was great too wellorganized efficient but never rushed If youre in Rome and want to get a deeper more intimate look at the Vatican I cant recommend EcoArt and especially Sara enough Thanks again for an unforgettable experience
