Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Vatican Museums 

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, including but not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are allowed in almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. Please note that bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment, such as tripods, large video equipments, and equipment backpacks, will not be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Knowledgeable Guide SO SO SO Crowded

We had a very knowledgeable and thorough tour guide she had an impressive level of detail about EVERYTHING in the Vatican Museums The small group had 10 people a manageable size There were some technical challenges with the headsets which were absolutely necessary given the noise level in the area but the guide handled it as well as could be expected I think she may have been disappointed that our group didnt want to take as many pictures as she expected and didnt ask more questions she was truly EXTREMELY thorough like a college professor level of information I would be remiss however if I did not mention that it was painfully PACKED The tour company cannot affect the volume of people however if you have trouble in tight spaces or very loud spaces or hot spaces it may be challenging We were literally shouldertoshoulder as we bumped forward through the corridors Our guide did her best to find spots with some room but it was nearly impossible By the end we just wanted to get out I do wish that St Peters Basilica was part of the tour as that was one of the most impressive things I saw I was thankful for the access

Excellent Vatican tour with small group

The small group of only ten people was perfect so we had time to ask questions and we could always hear our guide and see her On some of the big group tours weve done it was awful but this one was wonderful Laura has PHd in art history so we were incredibly fortunate to have her She has a great sense of humor kept everyone entertained and engaged and gave a comprehensive tour that is unforgettable She explained the things we would be missing also so we didnt wonder She explained the Basillica in detail before we departed too Thank you Laura for a once in a lifetime experience

Interesting and entertaining tour of the Vatican

Our tour was great Our guide Eddy Stefani was very knowledgable as well as funny He covered so much and even our 20 year olds listened to every word A great experience With our small group we covered so much and truly enjoyed the splendor of the Vatican and the Sistine chapel Highly recommend
