Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.


Ending Point

Vatican Museums or St. Peter's Basilica

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, including but not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

When available, Skip the Line Access to St. Peter's Basilica will be automatically provided at no extra cost. No guided tour will be provided. Please note that the Basilica is a separate venue to the Vatican Museums, is free to enter and does not require a ticket. It is not possible to always guarantee access to the Basilica, which may close with little or no notice.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are allowed in almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. Please note that bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment, such as tripods, large video equipments, and equipment backpacks, will not be permitted inside the Museums.

  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Best way to visit the Vatican museums and Sistine Chapel

We would recommend this tour as we were able to bypass the waiting crowds and see the Vatican museums and Sistine chapel with excellent commentary and directions from our guide Adriano We were then able to go directly into St Peters Basilica at the end of the tour

Fantastic walk back to the history of the Vatican and Italian dominance in the yonder

This was an outstanding tour and it was very well organized From the onset we were greeted by the EcoArt team as directed in their instructions and Sabrina our tour guide did a fantastic job to take us around the Vatican museum Sistine chapel and also give us a plethora of information on the entire history of the Roman empire and Italian rennaisance and the historical figures She was thorough very courtous facetious throughout so we enjoyed being au courant on all the antecedents which led to the Italian dominance There is plenty of walking so just be mindful of resting your back at regular intervals I would highly recommend this tour with EcoArt We booked via Viator which never disappoints

Richardo is the best

My advice to any one is book a tour with Richardo 8am skip the line was great We started tour on time and when lines slowed down Richardo took us to side rooms until it was less crowded Richards knowledge sense of humor made this tour fantastic I cant imagine doing this by myself or waiting in those endless lines for entrance

5 Star Tour from Assunta

Amazing Assunta from EcoArt was absolutely phenomenal so much so that her tour was the favourite experience our group had across the whole of our Italy Road Trip She was incredibly knowledgeable kind funny accommodating and relaxing We truly felt incredibly lucky to have landed in her group the quality of her tour was noticeably multiple levels above all others and she did so with a smile and a joke I could not recommend this enough and we all said afterwards how we wish we had her to show us around ALL of Rome Phenomenal

Great value for money and you can beat the ques too

A very good tour guide who spoke clearly and at a good pace Gave the group time to stop for toilet breaks and take photos in certain locations Would highly recommend this tour We done another tour in Rome and it wasnt as good as this one Highly recommend
