This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, and the Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Our group had an incredible experience on the Skip the Line Vatican Museums Sistine Chapel Tour St Peters and a huge part of that was our guide Niccolò He was extremely knowledgeable engaging and clearly passionate about the history art and architecture of the Vatican His detailed explanations brought everything to life and kept our group interested from beginning to end Skipping the long lines was a major advantage and allowed us to make the most of our time exploring these incredible sites If youre looking for a wellorganized informative tour I highly recommend this experience Hopefully youll be lucky enough to have Niccolò as your guide he made the tour unforgettable

Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries,;Gallery of the Maps, Raphael Rooms, and the Sistine Chapel.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Daily except Sunday

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.  

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Our tour of the Vatican was wonderful Loreley was a great guide friendly informed and informative She was really effective in moving us through the crowds and making sure we saw everything we came to see and she clearly enjoyed sharing her knowledge In the Sistine Chapel we had a great private conversation about the frescos and about what it must have been like for Michelangelo to paint them It was nice to be sharing ideas with someone who knew the Chapel so well We were especially pleased that the tour left us to explore St Peters Basilica on our own with no time limitation We probably spent two additional hours exploring this extraordinary church EcoArt was great to do business with They were contact with us throughout the process of planning the tour and meeting Loreley They let us know early on that the Last Judgement fresco was being restored and we couldnt see it so there was no surprise when we got to the Chapel They checked in with us just before the tour to ensure we know when and where to meet They were also easy to communicate with when we were worried they we would be late for the start of the tour there was a downpour that morning and kept in communication We would be happy to tour with EcoArt and Loreley again

Do a tour for these but doesnt have to be this one

Be careful of Wednesdays We thought we were also booked for the tour of St Peters but this wasnt it Finding this out at the beginning definitely got us off on the wrong foot It was not very clear in the description I have done this tour with another company a couple years ago and this was not quite as good Its definitely worth seeing these three places via a tour and you do need 3 hours to give it justice These places are a treasure of history to experience without a doubt
