In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

My friends me had a wonderful experience with EcoArt during our Vatican visit A special thankyou to Alberto our guide who not only briefed us and personally accompanied us to the Vatican Museum entrance but also led the tour with exceptional professionalism He was extremely polite insightful and courteous throughout Alberto engaged every single person in the group answered all our questions with patience and made the entire experience both informative and enjoyable I truly couldnt have asked for a better guide I also want to acknowledge the incredible support team behind the scenes I had complications with scheduling my Basilica and Vatican Museum visits and even though the Basilica tour wasnt part of my booking the team still guided me through everything with genuine care Their communication was prompt and clear and they made sure I was supported at every step Overall it was an outstanding experience I highly recommend EcoArt for their professionalism warmth and dedication they truly enhanced my trip to Rome

Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Daily except Sunday

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.  

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Great

Perfect option for me I looked for tickets very last minute Met the guide she took a small group of us through the first security check and explained what to do from there I got one of the first sessions in the morning and was through into the museum in no time at all Once you are through security you are on your own

The best way to see the Vatican without being packed

Pretty straight forward Meet your guide they take you through security give you tickets and set you free If you want to see the Sistine chapel and 34 of the Vatican without it being insanely busy hire this guide and do it at opening Once in go straight to the sisteen chapel and from then on you have all the museums essentially to yourself

great trip in Colosseum

Ahmed was knowledgeable and interesting guide He was happy to answer any questions we were curious He cared the quality of listening due to influenced by the person spoke loudly next to him He paused his explanation while the person was next to him make sure we didnt miss I enjoyed the time in Colosseum and Palatine Hill It was great experience in Rome

Fabulous experience tour of Coliseum and Palatine Hill

This is a fantastic tour to take when visiting Rome of the Coliseum and Palatine hill stepping back in time back in Rome Maria Lara was an amazing tour guide very knowledgeable and made the tour extremely interesting The time flew A must when visiting Rome
