Our tour of the Vatican was wonderful Loreley was a great guide friendly informed and informative She was really effective in moving us through the crowds and making sure we saw everything we came to see and she clearly enjoyed sharing her knowledge In the Sistine Chapel we had a great private conversation about the frescos and about what it must have been like for Michelangelo to paint them It was nice to be sharing ideas with someone who knew the Chapel so well We were especially pleased that the tour left us to explore St Peters Basilica on our own with no time limitation We probably spent two additional hours exploring this extraordinary church EcoArt was great to do business with They were contact with us throughout the process of planning the tour and meeting Loreley They let us know early on that the Last Judgement fresco was being restored and we couldnt see it so there was no surprise when we got to the Chapel They checked in with us just before the tour to ensure we know when and where to meet They were also easy to communicate with when we were worried they we would be late for the start of the tour there was a downpour that morning and kept in communication We would be happy to tour with EcoArt and Loreley again

Our guide Laura was exceptional she managed to lead us through a big crowd of visitors without losing any of us while sharing a great selection of facts and anecdotes from the rich history of the Vatican Even though it was only a short glimpse this will make a great memory for the family
