In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Informative insightful and lovely experience

My family and I did this tour yesterday with Alessia from Eco Art Travel and it was among the best tours weve done here in Italy Alessia is a perfect host and she is extremely informative knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour too We loved the time we spent with her learning so much about the art history culture and even a little bit of the language 1010 would recommend this guided tour with her to anyone

Great tour with Giuseppe

Giuseppe was a great guide Sure u can do this by yourself but at the end of the day youre just looking at status and paintings Our guide was very knowledgeable and explained all the important pieces on display and some of the ones most overlook Do yourself a favour and get a tour from EcoArt You might be lucky enough to get Giuseppe

A MUST DO

If there is one tour I recommend to do when in Rome is this one I went to Rome with my partner and booked many tours and experiences which did not meet our expectations however this one was absolutely amazing Our tour guide was Nicoletta and she was the sweetest kindest most informative person out of all the tours we booked She always made sure everyone was informed she also waited and reminded us to take pictures at specific famous pieces Im not one to write reviews but this specific tour requires a special mention The tour and guide were truly all that you expect and more when booking

Tour went off without a hitch from initial meeting place to end of tour at doors of Basilica Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and kept us together in the huge crowds inside the Museums She filled us with little known information and relatable stories and we came away with a wonderful memory and experience I would highly recommend this tour
