In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, and the Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries,;Gallery of the Maps, Raphael Rooms, and the Sistine Chapel.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.  

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Nicoletta Our tour guide truly made this one of the highlights of our trip From the very beginning they were so welcoming patient and genuinely passionate about sharing the history and culture with us They explained everything in a way that was interesting and easy to understand and they were always happy to answer our questions What I appreciated most was how they made everyone feel included and never rushed the experience You could really tell they cared about making sure we had a great time Thanks to them we left with not only beautiful memories but also a much deeper appreciation for the places we visited Thank you for such an unforgettable experience I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun informative and memorable day

Fantastic Tour

We had such a great experience touring the Vatican with Eddy He was friendly funny and incredibly knowledgeable He shared so many interesting stories and little details that we definitely would have missed if we had gone on our own You could tell he genuinely loves what he does and that made the tour even more enjoyable He kept everything organized answered everyones questions and made sure we had an amazing experience Were so glad we got Eddy as our guide and would absolutely recommend him to anyone visiting the Vatican

We had such a wonderful

We had such a wonderful morning with Jeannette She is a wealth of knowledge We were travelling with 2 teenage boys and she was able to make them laugh and feel apart of the group Thank you for a wonderful experience
