In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, and the Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Our guide Stefano was very entertaining

Our guide Stefano was very entertaining The Vatican Museum is overwhelming and he managed to capture our attention during the entire time I recommend bringing a fan because it can get hot in some areas of the museum since theres a lack of air conditioning But overall it was a very informative and memorable tour

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Great Tour with EcoArt

Tour was perfect Our guide was great It was a very hot day and she did her best to keep us in the shade while giving the group details about what we were seeing The pace of the tour and entry to the Pantheon and Trevi were on point Also communcation throughout the process with EcoArt was seemless

We had an absolutely amazing experience on our private tour of the Vatican and Sistine Chapel Our group of 10 was fortunate to have an incredibly knowledgeable and engaging guide who made the entire experience truly special She had studied art at university and her background and passion for art were evident throughout the tour She brought the incredible artwork to life by explaining the history meaning and fascinating details behind so many of the masterpieces Her knowledge of the Vatican was exceptional and her English was excellent making everything easy to understand and enjoyable It was the perfect combination of history art and fascinating stories We highly recommend this tour and our wonderful guide

Well Worth It

We really enjoyed this tour and appreciated the small group we had 8 maximum is 10 Our guide Gaga was very knowledgeable and a native to Rome She kept the tour going at a good pace I highly recommend this tour

Amazing We did this as

Amazing We did this as part of our honeymoon and we cant imagine it being any better We did the 330 tour that ended at the Colosseum so we were there for golden hour and it was just incredible Niccolo was a great guide funny informative helpful Palatine Hill the Roman Forum and all the ruins we saw first were amazing as well Definitely would recommend doing it that way
