This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, and the Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Fantastic Tour

This was my first visit to Rome and chose the Vatican Tour with Skip the Line We booked the Tour for Sat 14th Oct and to be honest it was just crazy busy However our guide Alena was more than capable of guiding our entire group through the vast maze of the Vatican without losing a single member of our group herding Cats springs to mind Alena was very knowledgeable and her indepth explanation of events and recollection of dates was very impressive All in all the Vatican Tour was a fantastic experience however the density of the crowds was the only negative to be found Even in Alenas own experience she had never seen it so busy The Tour also lasted slightly longer than usual as the Vatican Security Guards were trying to divert groups through various rooms to reduce the pressure on the more popular congested areas ie Cistine Chapel The corridors were sometimes very warm too so I would recommend that you bring a bottle of water along with light clothing comfortable footwear I would highly recommend this tour especially with this Tour Guide

A few difficulties booking the trip at first but these were immediately sorted by an online advisor Met at the arranged meeting place sorted into small groups Our guide was pleasant very knowledgeable Spoke to us using ear pieces Was definitely worth the early start we were able to skip the line into St Peters Basilica after the tour Would definitely recommend this early access tour
