In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, and the Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

A definite bucket list place to visit

An amazing city with a treasure trove of visitor attractions Driving is crazy which we knew but the green pedestrian crossing along with gren for cars was a little scary and dangerous Pathways were not well maintained but the metro and bus service was superb Food was delicious People were generally super friendly Weather was 30 degrees which was a little surprising for October and we were happy to get dry weather Hotel service was basic and below expectations for 4 star cost Overall glad we made the trip

We had Laura as our guide She was very knowledgeable and new all the little intricacies of the museum Great tour and good value for money Thanks Laura We had 3 teenagers who also found it interesting and enjoyed the tour

Awesome experience if you can live with the crowds

The sheer volume of amazing and interesting history and pieces of art is truly amazing The tour programme and guides knowledge was very interesting An obvious drawback was the overcrowding which really took away from the enjoyment of the tour Definitely not for the mobility impaired so glad Ive done this visit before I find it a struggle physically

Great tour

Loreley was a wonderful guide So informative the tour was paced very well she called out the highlights in what is otherwise a very overwhelming set of museums It was easy to find the group on the steps near the museum entrance
