In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, and the Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries,;Gallery of the Maps, Raphael Rooms, and the Sistine Chapel.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Daily except Sunday

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.  

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Wir hatten eine tolle Führung durch das Vatikanische Museum mit Martina von EcoArtTravel Der CheckIn am Treffpunkt lief super Martina hat uns ohne Warteschlange ins Museum gebracht und uns in ca 2 Stunden die Höhepunkte des Museums kompetent und unterhaltsam vorgestellt Der direkte Zugang zum Petersdom im Anschluss ist nicht sicher siehe Beschreibung und es sah so aus dass wir ihn nicht nutzen können weil es vorher eine Papstaudienz gab aber Martina hat es hinbekommen dass wir als eine der ersten Gruppen doch rübergehen konnten vielen Dank insbesondere dafür liebe Martina

Friendly knowledgeable tour guide

Ricardo was very knowledgeable and friendly the tour moved quickly but it was the right pace for such a large place Leave extra time to go back and view the art etc that interests you

Highly recommend

Tour was very well organised From getting a call to how far off we were to the coloured signs and shirts for easily meeting them at rhe busy meeting point Skip the line access was great and there was lots of communication Easy to hear through individual headsets Our guide Assunta was genuinely excited to share her knowledge and her energy was infectious Her accent was noticeable but not hard to u seratand the English She made the tour interactive and easy to follow The crowds are unavoidable but we never loat her as she made sure to round our small group up I would highly recommend

Anniversary visit to Vatican

My wife and I had been looking forward to our trip to Rome for quite some time One of our Bucket list items was visiting the Vatican Maria Laura was outstanding with her knowledge about the Vatican and how she explained its details We learned so much in just a few hours I recommend not only booking a tour with EcoArt but if possible ask for Maria Laura as your guide you will not be disappointed
