In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, and the Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

We did the Forum and Coloseum tour

We did the Forum and Coloseum tour I was happy with it overall The tour guide was very knowledgeable I wouldnt have known what any of the stuff in the Forum was without the tour Her presentation tone leaned a bit secular at times specificially when discussing anything involving Christianity but overall remained largely factual and neutral I would have liked maybe a bit more free time to explore though

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries,;Gallery of the Maps, Raphael Rooms, and the Sistine Chapel.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.  

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Skip the line Vatican Museum and its many parts

Catalina was delightful An escortshepherd marvelous herder of cats Answering questions with warmth and information that was charming and very informative The expression of art and the nuances in different characters of all sorts of arts included in the Vatican museum Are really loved its seems by visitors and guides that give all life through interpretation Giving useful reminders of how to look at the art and reminders of how its it was meant to be viewed In spite of or because of the circumstances Catalina is very practiced in moving and flowing through all masses with polite charm and humor The skip the line offseason Im not sure if Rome or Vatican City have one of those any longer was great the small group was perfect for me I could hear and ask questions with ease to have somebody that enjoyed and expressed with such joyful enthusiasm for the art in the Vatican museum it was a pleasure to participate with I would absolutely tour again at a different time to enjoy more than the thumbnail sketch that went by too quickly with Catalina a wonderful representative of Ecoart

The best tour 5 star guide

The entire tour was excellent We had a We had a wonderful time Our tour guide went above and beyond to make sure I could get inside St Peters Basilica even though we could not access through the Sistine Chapel She truly cared and was excited to share all her knowledge with us The best of the best

A thoughtful and personal experience of the Vatican mueseum and Sistine chapel

Giuseppe was a knowledgeable fun and enthusiastic tour guide during our tour of the Vatican City museums and Sistine Chapel He made the museum come to life with his stories and focused on the meaningful art pieces in the extensive Vatican museum gallery Even among the crowds you felt like you were on a private tour walking through the museum Highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to enjoy the Vatican museum Sistine chapel and skip the line to get into Saint Peters basilica Definitely worth it

Great tour guide in a crowded place

Booking this tour is the only way to see the Vatican museums and Sistine Chapel Maria was an excellent and knowledgable guide She tailored the experience for our group We should have booked an earlier tour our tour only started at 14h15 as the earlier ones were fully booked It didnt give us much time at St Peters You only get skip the line passes once youve been on the tour The crowds were hectic I wouldnt like to be there in peak season
