In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, and the Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

We did the Forum and Coloseum tour

We did the Forum and Coloseum tour I was happy with it overall The tour guide was very knowledgeable I wouldnt have known what any of the stuff in the Forum was without the tour Her presentation tone leaned a bit secular at times specificially when discussing anything involving Christianity but overall remained largely factual and neutral I would have liked maybe a bit more free time to explore though

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries,;Gallery of the Maps, Raphael Rooms, and the Sistine Chapel.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.  

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. The Vatican a perfect blend of scholarship and humor

Our guide Maria Laura was erudite captivating funny and riveting The 3 hours of the tour passed like 10 minutes We learned about ancient Roman and Christian history culture artistic technique and pastcontemporary religious thought It was a scholarly thoughtful and at times hilarious tour The microphone delivery system meant that Laura could continue talking as we walked and she did talk continually never faltering and always engaging Terrific tour

An excellent guided tour of the Vatican

The intructions to meet up with the EcoArt guide were excellent A tour group of 10 all equipped with earphones and a small radio meant we did not miss anything Our guide Catalina was so knowledgeable and patient with all our questions She was also very funny and the tour was therefore very enjoyable We would highly recommend Eco Art and Catalina in particular

Best tour of our holiday

The tour was brilliantWe were lucky as it was a small group and it was a quiet afternoon for visiting Skip the line was superb as we could also skip the hour long queue into the Basilica at 430pm which was a massive bonus Eddy our guide was amazingso knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour Nothing was too much trouble He made the tour enjoyable for us all and answered all our questions
