In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, and the Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Our group had an incredible experience on the Skip the Line Vatican Museums Sistine Chapel Tour St Peters and a huge part of that was our guide Niccolò He was extremely knowledgeable engaging and clearly passionate about the history art and architecture of the Vatican His detailed explanations brought everything to life and kept our group interested from beginning to end Skipping the long lines was a major advantage and allowed us to make the most of our time exploring these incredible sites If youre looking for a wellorganized informative tour I highly recommend this experience Hopefully youll be lucky enough to have Niccolò as your guide he made the tour unforgettable

Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries,;Gallery of the Maps, Raphael Rooms, and the Sistine Chapel.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.  

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Would recommend

Polina was a wonderful guide the new her stuff She gave a great tour The company was well organized with an easy meeting point among the thousands trying to get into the Vatican Once you sign in they sort you into a small group and give you a headset so that you can hear the guide Would recommend and do another tour with EcoArt

A must see attraction and a must do tour

Not only are the attractions in this tour a must when visiting Rome but the tour was run smoothly from start to finish Our group had Polina as our tour guide who was not only knowledgeable but friendly and funny too She was an amazing tour guide I would recommend this tour to anyone and would use EcoArt again myself

Engaging tour of the Vatican

Martina was an expert and engaging guide She was really great with our 10 year old son and made the tour interesting for all age groups I would highly recommend Martina and the team as tour operators communication was excellent and tour perfectly pitched The Vatican is really an incredible tourist destination and a must see when visiting Rome
