In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, and the Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

We love our tour at the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel very much and mainly because our tour guide Shaklò has made the whole experience more fun and memorable She is very informative and always makes sure each of us in the tour has taken great care of Im also glad that she speaks fluent English and very easy to understand despite we are using the headsets Im a Fine Arts Major and with the stories and histories she shared during the tour I felt like Im back to university and learnt even more than I had before Thank you Grazie

Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries,;Gallery of the Maps, Raphael Rooms, and the Sistine Chapel.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Daily except Sunday

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.  

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Excellent tour Guide Polina was amazing Very informative and kept the group moving at a reasonable pace even through very large crowds

Very interesting well

Very interesting well worth the extra money to hear all the stories would recommend meeting point and ticket instructions could be simplified passport not needed but once on the tour it was good

THE way to see the Vatican

Our guide Martina from EcoArt was excellent Very knowledgeable very friendly and very helpful Highly recommend EcoArt and Martina She did not rush the group and mentioned all the must see at the vatican museum and thoroughly explained everything we need to know about Sistine Chapel paintings The tour also provided access to the Basilica at the end and Martina was very thorough in explaining all the highlights and must see of the basilica Highly recommend this tour You wont be disappointed We learned so much

Informative experience

So happy we purchased this tour especially that we got into the Vatican relatively quickly for the crowds there were Tour was very informative just very long and I think between the amount of people and a little chaos a bit difficult to understand our tour guide However high recommend booking to be able to get in especially during the peak seasons Be prepared to walk Sistine chapel is the end of the tour
