About the tour

In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, and the Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries,;Gallery of the Maps, Raphael Rooms, and the Sistine Chapel.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.  

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Vatican tour done right

The location is obviously very hectic and chaotic but our tour guide made instructions very easy while also being very knowledgeable on every portion of the tour She was very friendly and charismatic making this once in a lifetime experience that much better

Copy The tour was fantrastic I especially loved Martine the guide I was a guidу mysekf so I can see how profeccional she is Her stories keep ideal balance informative ebough anв some easy information and nice pleasant jokes guides often joke too much or spaeak too much about themselves Sh is excellent She organised the things in such a way that nobody was lost or even upset in the difficult Museums of Vatikan I have mucj experience and I wish I have a guide like Martina in each and every excursion I go for Thank you Martina Thank you EcoArt Travel

Great service

We booked a small group tour with EcoArt however on the day itself we were informed that our tour guide had to cancel at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances We had to join a bigger group and they gave us a partial refund for the difference which we appreciated The team also does not fall short in making sure you are well informed up to the day of your tour they send emails and messages as reminders Fabio was our tour guide he had such a fun energy and took his time to explain the great pieces during the tour
