In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.

Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. This was an excellent entertaining and informative tour It was my first trip to Rome and to the Vatican and I could not have organised this quality of experience myself Guia was highly knowledgeable thoughtful and attentive and a flexible navigator through the crowds and the options available to us

Vatican Tour

The tour had been booked for 0900 in the morning but it was changed the night before due to staff sickness and we were able to go on the amended time of 1130 However due to this change it impacted on our overall itinerary for the day and meant we were not able to visit other sites we had planned which was disappointing Our Tour Guide David was full of energy extremely attentive and knowledgeable throughout The whole tour was extremely breathtaking and there was so much to see and take in with the Vatican Museums Sistine Chapel the Basilica St Peters Square that it was impossible to photograph everything that was on display Overall the tour was worthwhile
