In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

After free time in the Sistine Chapel - you'll be able choose to end your visit at the Vatican Museums entrance or continue to explore on your own.

At the conclusion of your tour, you will enjoy skip-the-line access to St. Peter's Basilica, excluding Wednesdays and special events.

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

When available,Skip the Line Access to St. Peter's Basilica will be automatically provided at no extra cost. No guided tour will be provided. Please note that the Basilica is a separate venue to the Vatican Museums, is free to enter and does not require a ticket. It is not possible to always guarantee access to the Basilica, which may close with little or no notice.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. A must do

Skip the Line is the way to go Its very crowded at the site so the access saves time waiting Well worth the cost Maria Laura was an excellent tour guide She was extremely knowledgeable and shared the stories and history in an interesting way Her English was very good which was a big plus for us

Visiting any Roman monument these days is guaranteed to be extremely busy Booking with a reputable tour company makes like a lot easier My guide was a woman called Viola She was open friendly wellinformed and a charming leader for our small group tour through the Colosseum the Forum and the Palatine Hill I recommend her especially and this company without reservation

Amazing Vatican Tour with Martina

Awesome tour We were guided by one of the best tour guides I have had Martina She was engaging assertive with directions and made sure the group followed along at a nice pace We went on an early Wednesday tour which is the same day the Pope gives his public speech This means St Peters basilica is closed until the afternoon That is okay because this tour packs in everything you need to see in the museums and of course the great Sistine Chapel Martina gave the group some fun and informative information about many of the great pieces in the museums and even added in a little fun I will not be able to see Sylvester Stallone in a movie again without thinking of the Vatican We then got a good overview of the Chapel before being let on our own to go inside and stay as long as we wanted I really liked the way the tour was structured in this way to allow us to wander on our own I would definitely recommend EcoArt tours I booked through Viator but would go straight through their website as well in the future Grazie
