In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.  

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Loved our EcoArt Tour we visited the Colosseum and Forum If you can do it I would recommend the arena floor visit It was really a different experience than Ive had on regular tours in the past Our tour guide was great very knowledgeable and had a great attitude with the rain crowds and wait time

Amazing experience with unreal beaches and a fantastic guide

This trip is a must do for anyone that wants to experience island life stunning beaches and have a lot of fun in the process the tour takes you across colombia and Panama staying on some of the most beautiful islands imaginable You get to swim snorkel and also learn all about the Guna people who live across the islands The trip is very well organised and apart from the amazing views and beaches the guides and crew make it so much fun Our guide Erin in particular was fantastic She was so knowledgable about the islands and really put in a lot of hard work to make the trip truly unforgettable and fun for everyone

Great tour of Colosseum Palatine Hill Forum

The tour was very detailed and complete Our guide Emanuela shared a lot of good information about the tour sites and gave us little extras eg a tour through a section of the Forum dedicated to Vestal Virgins She also steered us from areas that were overrun by other visitors allowing us to get full value for our time The Colosseum should be seen from the arena floor its worth paying for this There is a lot to see when Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum as all visited in the 3 hours Thanks for the experience
