In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.

Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Amazing experience

I booked this tour few hours before Pope Francesco passed away I was about to cancel but I decided to keep it Although and without seeing Basils due to conclave Patrizia made it such especial with her knowledge

This saved so much time

This was an amazing tour Martina was our guide and she saved us so much time It is exhausting to keep up with a tour like this but it would have been so much worse if we had had to stand in the regular lines We had just 10 in our group as promised We first went into the Vatican Museums Although we had to wait a little bit in line the regular line was around a couple of blocks and Martina said that they would be waiting 3 hours Because the Sistine Chapel was closed we didnt see that but saw some other areas Next we were taken outside the Vatican walls to walk quite a ways to the entrance to St Peters Basilica The guide got us to the quick entrance and then left us to go on by ourselves We were in that line quite a while to get through security but that was nothing like the regular line And once we got through that we could walk at our own pace into the Basilica when those in the other line had to still be in a line to get in Overall a great way to get in and see everything
