In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.  

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Efficient but very informative tour

Oxana was a great tour guide It was my second time at the Vatican City and learnedenjoyed a lot finally She had a great sense of humor and was very knowledgable to be able to answer our questions There were a lot of things to look and information to digest so be prepared to ask questions as some may not be covered due to the limited tour time 253hrs Note It will require you to walk a lot Wear a comfy pair of shoes bring a bottle of water and a smalllight bag

Excellent Tour

Tour length and content was perfect and delivered everything listed in the description Our tour guide Pasquino was very informative and obviously experienced in navigating Vatican City We were able to enter the museums at our scheduled time with very little time spent in lines Pasquino was able to lead us through the museums and the Sistine Chapel efficiently while spending adequate time pointing out and describing the main highlights I cant imagine trying to negotiate the crowds without the help of an experienced guide We were also able to enter St Pauls Cathedral without waiting in the normal line

ABSOLUTELY Book this Tour

I cannot say enough great things about this tour with Catalina She was absolutely AMAZING Her knowledge and personality were just incredible and we had a blast We could have talked with her for an entire day and this was even my 17 year olds opinion as well I would absolutely hands down do this trip over with Catalina as the guide Cant speak for the others but you will love this tour if you want to understand the history of Rome and the Vatican
