In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, and the Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries,;Gallery of the Maps, Raphael Rooms, and the Sistine Chapel.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.  

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. We had a great experience on our tour with Giuseppe Tour was as described and he gave us a lot of very good information Even with skip the line tickets it was so busy it took us a bit of time to get in But no problem as Giuseppe was able to give us even more tid bits of information Check in was easy and everything went smoothly

An Unforgettable Vatican Tour with a True Expert

We had the pleasure of taking a guided tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel with Senori Frederico and it was truly unforgettable As an archaeologist with a background in art his knowledge and passion for both history and aesthetics made every stop fascinating He knew exactly where to pause for the most meaningful views and the most interesting details like how one of the museums tapestries has eyes that seem to follow you Those little touches brought the entire experience to life We had our 8yearold with us and Frederico was incredibly engaging keeping all of us adults and kid alike interested throughout the full 3hour tour Despite the intense summer heat he thoughtfully included stops in airconditioned areas we wouldnt have even known existed which made the tour not only enjoyable but comfortable If youre looking for a guided tour thats both educational and enjoyable we cant recommend Frederico enough He made a massive and overwhelming place feel personal and full of wonder

Well organized and our guide Fabio was amazing I love the groups were split into smaller groups He took time to get to know you so that he can tailor the talk to you or on the lookout for interests such as pointing out Chagalls Crucifixion
