In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, Round Room, Greek Cross Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries, and the Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

The Vatican museums are incredible on their own but our experience was absolutely fantastic thanks to our brilliant guide Sarah with EcoArt She added so much depth with her extensive knowledge of the museum and its artwork Very highly recommend her

Exceptional guide Lorena

I hope I can articulate just how excellent this tour was in a way that does it justice Everything about it was great and we must praise Lorena our guide her passion for art and for Rome really enhanced the experience She is extremely knowledgeable and engaging with a sense of humour We are also grateful for her kindness towards my mother who was a little slower at navigating steps by the way any steps were in good condition and had rails its just mum can get a bit hesitant on any steps or stairs I really cant thank Lorena enough I love history but have never been into art but her explanations and enthusiasm have made me plan to learn more about art Shes that good

Well done

This tour really exceeded my expectations However I wish we had done it in the morning because there was so much to see and we would have enjoyed it more if we hadnt spent the morning also touring other sites Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and very engaging Everyone really enjoyed the tour

Great tour that went by fast

Christine was fabulous She kept us going the tour felt shorter than I thought it would because of how good Christine was at explaining and navigating She knew the good spots to stop for a quick bathroom break without lines Gave good info for after the tour Would book again
