In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Starting Point

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

Additional information
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
  • Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
  • Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • *THIS VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET* You must redeem this voucher at the meeting time and location designed on this voucher, with one of our designed Ticket Coordinators.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
  • Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
  • We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
  • Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
  • Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.  

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Great tour of Colosseum with great guide highly recommended

This is an unmissable tour if you visit Rome Especially so if you have Marcello Ciampi of EcoArt Travel as your guide He was very knowledgeable and informative and spoke very clear English He showed great passion for the subject and in particular his folio of old photos and illustrations really helped us to understand the context Also very friendly and obliging with questions

Un servicio fantástico

La verdad que al principio era reacio a contratar estos servicios por su posibilidad de estafa pero la verdad que acabé francamente contento Nosotros contratamos el servicio de entrada sin guía a los Museos Vaticanos y lo cierto es que dan exactamente lo que prometen Quedan contigo en un sitio cercano te tienen continuamente informado se comunican a través de e mail pero con un teléfono móvil que ponen a tu disposición para que puedas llamar o mandar un mensaje por si pasa algo o tuvieras alguna duda y la entrada es exactamente como te dicen te saltas la cola siguiendo al guía y una vez dentro a tu bola El sobrecoste de la entrada con respecto a la oficial no me parece para nada caro así que sin duda volvería a repetir con ellos en alguna otra excursión ya sea con o sin guía
