In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

My family went on a tour of the Colloseum Forum and Palatine Hill The highlight of the tour besides of course the Colloseum was our guide Sara S who was smart lively and really made the 3 hours of tour fun and engaging Highly recommend especially if Sara is your guide

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Vatican Tour

Very organized informative and good pace Have to use a tour guide for the Vatican due to its size and volume of works Our tour guide was very good and did a great job showing us the highlights and giving a lot of information of the Vatican and its museum We were also able to skip the line to St Peters Basilica where we were able to wander at our own pace

Depende el tiempo que tengas

Por 111 us dls compramos 2 entradas sin filas a los museos del Vaticano y la Capilla Sixtina Esto NO incluia guÃa bÃ¡sicamente lo que hacen es que te llevan a una fila privada tambiÃ©n debajo del sol de todos los operadores de tours con sus grupos lo que tambien era una fila larguisima como a las 1200pm y esperamos como 10min y nos dejaron pasar La chica de los tours solo nos lleva hasta la puerta y listo igual hicimos fila PERO es una buena opciÃ³n si no traes tiempo y quieres asegurar tu entrada ya que ellos te compran las entras desde antes Ya dentro tardas como 1 hora si vas medio rapido viendo para pasar todos los museos del Vaticano y despues estaa Capilla Sixtina basicamente vas siguiendo la marea de personas que te van llevando por todas las salas y museos Saliendo de ahi caminas como 510 min y llegas a la BasÃlica de San Pedro la cual es gratis entrar pero nos tocÃ³ una fila de 30 min aprox debajo del sol como a 37 tomen precauciones la BasÃlica es BELLISIMA a mi me gustÃ³ mas que la Capilla Sixtina

Great tour and host

Great tour and host in Gaga she was really interesting and gave the group loads of facts as the tour progressed Despite the heat she managed to keep us all entertained ending up in the Sistine Chapel and st Peters basilica
