In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

My family went on a tour of the Colloseum Forum and Palatine Hill The highlight of the tour besides of course the Colloseum was our guide Sara S who was smart lively and really made the 3 hours of tour fun and engaging Highly recommend especially if Sara is your guide

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Just WONDERFUL

Our tour guide Ricardo was absolutely wonderful His wisdom on the history of the Vatican and art were impressive The Sistine Chapel and St Peters Basilica were breathtaking

Adrian was our tour guide of our group of 20

Adrian was our tour guide of our group of 20 It started at these steps outside the Vatican It was easy to find and get organized We got into the Vatican pretty quickly as we were in a tour but still had to wait in a line Faster than the general line Once inside we had the chance to use the WC Adrian did a great job getting us through the museums and highlights of the Vatican Keeping the group together and answering any questions The Vatican during the summer is slammed and having a smaller group is nice compared to the other groups that had over 2x as many However a private tour is probably ideal if you want to splurge However considering how many people visit the Vatican Adrian did a great job navigating and showing us as much as possible in a little over 25 hours We then were able to skip the incredibly long line into St Peters Basilica where we were left to wonder alone Some others here complained about not having a tour guide in the church but honestly at this point in the tour my wife and I enjoyed just walking around at our own pace in that magnificent place of worship No words can describe it anyways
