In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

My family went on a tour of the Colloseum Forum and Palatine Hill The highlight of the tour besides of course the Colloseum was our guide Sara S who was smart lively and really made the 3 hours of tour fun and engaging Highly recommend especially if Sara is your guide

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Long through very hot rooms and lots of stairsOtherwise tour person was very knowledgeable and helped us I wish I could have stayed a little longer at the Chapel to see Michelangelo masterpiece longer

Ancient Art Masterpieces

Our guide was Lorelei and she is an art historian We began with a group of about 12 people in the Vatican gardens Shortly after we entered the gardens 3 people requested to go sit in the cafe Our guide was very understanding and we spent some time here viewing the statuary When the group was ready to proceed the small group decided not to continue There were 2 members of our group who had difficulty with stairs and Lorelei was very understanding and accommodating by showing g them to elevators as well as providing them options to sit and rest during parts of the tour We viewed the artwork j The Vatican museum Lorelei was very knowledgeable about all the art and answers all of our questions Several other people in our group had booked back to back tours and had to exit the tour early Lorelei was gracious and explained to them how to leave the museum She did a great job of explaining the art work of the Sistine Chapel prior to entering as photography and video are not allowed in the chapel The tour finished in St Peters Square where she showed us how to enter the basilica and gift shops I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn more about the Vatican and its vast collection of artwork
