In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Highly recommended for anyone looking to visit the Vatican

Fabrizio was a wonderful and very knowledgeable guide He did a great job of explaining not only what we were seeing but also what we would see and how things would work in areas of the Vatican where youre not allowed to talk What we learned about was a good balance of art history and Catholicism We would highly recommend for anyone looking to visit the Vatican

Skip the line Vatican tour

Sabina was an excellent tour guide She was very knowledgeable and presented the information in a clear easy to understand way The only thing that was a bit unpleasant were the crowds This was totally out of Sabinas control In fact she was able to get us at the front of the line to view the Sistine chapel It was after that time we went exploring a few side rooms and became separated from the group When we contacted Eco Art to explain what happened and return the listening devices The Eco Art staff member was very gracious and understanding

Our guide Loreley was fantastic Her background in art history gave the group great information regarding everything we saw in the museums She also did an excellent job of navigating us through the huge crowds

Fun and informative

It was a rainy day but still very busy Sabina was an absolute joy She was just so much fun especially the way she relayed information Kinda like your favorite aunt It was a lot of walking and standing but her unlimited energy keeps you going
