In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

My family went on a tour of the Colloseum Forum and Palatine Hill The highlight of the tour besides of course the Colloseum was our guide Sara S who was smart lively and really made the 3 hours of tour fun and engaging Highly recommend especially if Sara is your guide

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.

Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Excellent guide Worth the money Be smart and book a guide dont go it alone

Excellent guide will vary by group but all appear to be equally knowledgable Our guide took his time answering every question and providing so much insight into each area without it feeling slow or rushed Highly recommend especially given how long the lines would be otherwise There were highlights he pointed out that we wouldnt have seen or known to look for so if you think you can get the information by just reading the provided descriptions in rooms youll wish youd booked a guide like him So unless you have all the time in the world to wait in lines dont care about any historycontext to what youre seeing or you have a degree in Vatican art historyspend the money and book the guide You wont regret it

Great tour

Having an experienced tour guide was really helpful and having skip the line passes was excellent Every historical site has securitymetal detectors and that you cant skip but the Vatican Museum has group only access lines Youre not standing in line with those booking individual tours Our guide was very very knowledgeable and she did an excellent job of explaining everything This tour doesnt include a guided discussion of the Basilica but you do get special access more skipping the line Of all the tours of religious sites we did this vacation this one was the most strict about the dress code

Wonderful tour of the Vatican

Jeanette our guide was wonderful She was charming and engaging and we learned so much There was so much to take in She helped bring history to life with her stories I would recommend this tour Skip the line was wonderful too
