In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

After free time in the Sistine Chapel - you'll be able choose to end your visit at the Vatican Museums entrance or continue to explore on your own.

At the conclusion of your tour, you will enjoy skip-the-line access to St. Peter's Basilica, excluding Wednesdays and special events.

This tour was definitely the highlight of our trip Our guide was lovely and so knowledgeable We were able to go into the Vatican Museums had a chance to go into each room and take photos while the guide explained some of the history We had access to the Sistine Chapel which would highly recommend doing After the tour we were given the opportunity to visit St Peters Basilica on our own dont know if this is provided every time but if offered I would 100 do it Our guide was kind enough to give us some information about St Peters and we were given access to it through the Sistine chapel which avoided the long lines outside Leave enough time to be able to find the meeting place so you dont miss the tour Would highly recommend this tour

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

When available,Skip the Line Access to St. Peter's Basilica will be automatically provided at no extra cost. No guided tour will be provided. Please note that the Basilica is a separate venue to the Vatican Museums, is free to enter and does not require a ticket. It is not possible to always guarantee access to the Basilica, which may close with little or no notice.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. wonderful tour of the vatican museum and sistine chapel!

Our knowledgeable tour guide made this walking tour very enjoyable and educational in spite of the big crowds at the Vatican. We highly recommend her!

Breathtakingly Beautiful

We toured at 9:15 on Monday, October 28 and our guide was incredible. I had some problems with keeping up with the group and she never made me feel like I was inconveniencing her. Her knowledge and insights into the art was an added bonus. This tour is a must see for Christians and all religions as it is truly an unbelievable experience. If there is one down side to the tour is the lack of wheelchairs. This limits so many people; how sad. There are numerous staircases to navigate. All in all a wonderful day with our guide.

beautiful tour of the vatican

We had a tour of the vatican on mondag. Priscila was our tour guide. After a short time going through the necessary security we entered the vatican museum. It was super crowded but with out earpiece in and the extensive knowledge of priscila it was not hard to get lost in the moment. The vactican is a very special place and even better when you have someone there to ask questions. The sixtine chapel and st peter bascilic were the highlights!

Wir hatten die Tour mit David. Er hat uns superprofessionell durch die Museen und den Dom geführt und sehr viel und sehr gut erklärt. Die 3 Stunden sind mit ihm wie im Flug vergangen. Tausend Dank!!!
