It was really easy to locate the tour before it started considering outside the Vatican is a busy place Our guide Lorelai had amazing knowledge specifically about Michelangelo It was the perfect amount of information that you could understand and wasnt overwhelming Lorelai led us to the entrance of St Peters at the end of the tour

Great Tour Weds 330p was perfect

The tour was perfect EcoArt was very organized The instructions were clear and we were able to check in about 15 minutes before the tour time and get our listening devices We went through security and had a bathroom stop then did our whole tour without losing anyone and it was a group of 20 in a sea of hundreds pushing around Quite a feat Our guide Fabrizio was very knowledgeable and a good wrangler We never lost sight of him though when we got too far the listening device would cut in and out and I had to weave around families and old ladies to catch up Fabrizio answered all questions and set us up at St Peters Basilica with some interesting facts as well Being in the Sistene Chapel is overwhelming but we were able to find a spot in the middle of the floor to stand and look up There is some seating along the wall but you have to get a spot as people leave I imagine if you have someone old pregnant or lesser abled that people will move for you like on a metro train Our guide gave us 10 minutes at the Sistene Chapel and it was plenty Because Fabrizio was not allowed to guide in the Sistene Chapel he explained what he could to us earlier in the tour I saw other guides do this too We booked Wednesday at 330p and FYI the Basilica is not closed all day Wednesday just in the mornings for religious services It was perfect timing because St Peters Basilica wasnt very crowded at all when we went 540p it closes at 730p Dont forget to cover your shoulders and knees

We enjoyed the tour The Vatican museums are wildly touristy so as long as you go in expecting that its fine We intentionally picked this tour because we thought a 20person group would be more manageable than a 200person one and indeed we didnt really have problems waiting on people We had a personable funny guide and the sights themselves are interesting We also loved that we could skip the line for St Peters at the end though most of the basilica is closed by the time youre done with the tour if you do a later tour Wed recommend

Great choice for Vatican tour

We enjoyed the tour There are so many options it can feel overwhelming but wed recommend this one We liked the smaller groups size 20 people we didnt really have to spend time waiting for people or finding one another We appreciated the skip the line part because we saw the line and wouldnt want to wait in it The museums themselves are wildly touristy and crowded but you should expect it and its easier than you might think to ignore the tourist hordes and pay attention to that your guide is saying On that note our guide Fabio was great He was personable and funny and kept us moving through the museums at a solid pace We liked having access to St Peters at the end too though much of the basilica will be closed by the time youre done if you do a later tour In any case we would recommend
