In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

After free time in the Sistine Chapel - you'll be able choose to end your visit at the Vatican Museums entrance or continue to explore on your own.

At the conclusion of your tour, you will enjoy skip-the-line access to St. Peter's Basilica, excluding Wednesdays and special events.

The guide was prepared and fun The radio system worked for me Im italian his accent didnt bother me but my wife american struggled somewhat Museum was run at high pace but thats understandable plan for a guided fast visit and a solo slow one Recommended

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

Itineraries vary from day to day and at the discretion of your guide who will adapt your route.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

When available,Skip the Line Access to St. Peter's Basilica will be automatically provided at no extra cost. No guided tour will be provided. Please note that the Basilica is a separate venue to the Vatican Museums, is free to enter and does not require a ticket. It is not possible to always guarantee access to the Basilica, which may close with little or no notice.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Obviously a wonderful place but is skip the line ticket worth it IMHO no

The Vatican Museum is wonderful and spectacular Paying the extra price to skip the line isnt necessary dependent upon the time you go and day We bought this ticket but there was no line when we got there so our entry was actually slowed by the tour guide trying to organize all of the folks with special needs eg youth tickets Also our entry time was 6pm and the added hold up made it so we couldnt visit St Peters note the access to St Peters in the title which closed at 7pm None of this is on the tour company but beware of what you are purchasing because we would have done far better to have just stood in line bought a ticket and enter when we wanted to Once the tour guide gives you your ticket he leaves so youre on your own

A must see in Rome

Good tour but it was a little bit hard to hear the tour guide sometime note the audio equipment is provided by the Vatican and not the tour company Make sure you take a bottle of water and its not easy to find toilets along the way Vatican itself is amazing a must see in Rome
