In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Although I felt like

Although I felt like cattle being herded from location to location its worth it Our guide Oscar provided so much information I learned a lot Its a beautiful place and I would highly recommend the church tour The sheer size of the building is breath taking

Amazing time touring Vatican City with Martina

Our experience with Martina was great She has a bright personality and was so friendly and funny She made our tour of Vatican City so enjoyable She was knowledgeable and shared interesting facts with us We really had a great experience with her We didnt feel rushed or like we couldnt hear her She was very patient and helpful I would love for her to do all of my future Italy tours

Excellent tour

Highly recommend this tour The line was wrapped around the Vatican to get in With this tour we met our tour guide easily in the designated location and walked right in Oscar was a great tour guide very friendly and did an amazing tour very knowledgeable Headphone ear pieces are used which made the tour easy to hear You will not be disappointed Dont miss climbing to the top of St Peters dome on your own at the end of the tour So worth the 551 steps
