In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Fred was really helpful and we learned a lot about the Vatican in the museum

Fred was really helpful and we learned a lot about the Vatican in the museum Although it was very pricey were glad that we took a tour as there is so much more to the paintings than it seems We will probably go on more tours with EcoArt

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

This tour of the Vatican was wonderful There is so much history and art in the museums that you would be completely unaware of if you dont take a guided tour Fred was an awesome guy who knew so much art history Italy the Vatican and more is an anthropologist Could not recommend this tour enough

Necessary

Having a booked tour really seemed necessary to navigate the crowds and to have information on what we were seeing The meeting location for all the tours seemed to be the same so finding our tour was a tiny bit challenging Our guide was informative and did a great job of keeping the group together

Es ist alles reibungslos abgelaufen schneller Security Check und drinnen kann man sich die Zeit frei einteilen Es entsprach alles den beschriebenen Leistungen Basilika ist hie nur nach Verfügbarkeit und man muss sich anstellen Es gab einen eigene Warteschlange für Ticketinhaber obwohl freier Eintritt ist aber das hat mit dem Veranstalter nichts zu tun sondern mit der Organisation vor Ort

Oscar was just fantastic Excellent knowledge made our visit to the Vatican very enjoyable informative We were on the 1pm tour the timing was perfect as it wasnt too busy
