In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

This itinerary covers the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Other stops include but are not limited to: Pinecone Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Maps.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

Lovely Tour with Marina

Marina was lovely She was very knowledgeable about EVERYTHING we came across and she took the time to explain each section of the Sistine Chapel She even told us the best placesangles to take photos where we could Marina has an art history background which only enhanced the tour Highly recommend

Stunning location amazing art and history

Excellent friendly guide to be honest there is simply too much to take in The architecture art and history here both stunning and vast We did leave knowing lots of bits of information about the amazing Roman empire thanks to Monica

Worth the money to skip the line

Worth the extra to skip the line tour guide was good and was very knowledgeable however before we started the tour we approached another EcoArt tour guide with a question and she was most unhelpful rude and seemed to be rushing her tour inside Thankfully we were not on her tour and head we been I would have been complaining It was very busy even in Feb however it is really good and the ceiling art is worth seeing The Vatican really need to be stricter with the rules inside the Sistine Chapel as you are told not to talk or take pictures and within seconds of entering people were taking pictures and the talking was really loud Very busy and no time to actually see the ceiling Vatican staircase is amazing Our tour guide Adriano was great so glad we got him very chilled

This is an excellent tour the guide was very lovely and new every detail and storys of the tour I would definitely recomed doing the tour also you get through the a lot quicker
