In groups of 20 people or less, our insider guides will lead you straight to the most important areas of the Vatican Museums. This classic itinerary of the must-see sights includes stops in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Courtyard, Room of the Muses, the Round Room, the Candelabra Gallery, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps.

This tour culminates inside the museums at the Sistine Chapel. Rules are rules, and your guide will be unable to speak while you are inside. However, your insider guide will prepare you for your visit to this word wonder beforehand.

Plan on arriving to our meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance of your selected departure time. Meet our representative on the steps in front of Via Tunisi, 4. The steps are located at the corner with Via Sebastiano Veniero. Your Ticket Host will be holding a flag with the green EcoArt logo.

What to bring with you

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Leave big backpacks at your hotel! Only small purses are permitted inside the Museums.
Something to cover your knees and shoulders.
Photos are permitted is almost all rooms of the Vatican Museums, except for the Sistine Chapel. No bulky or clearly professional photographic or video equipment (especially tripods or large videocameras, equipment backpacks) will be permitted inside the Museums.

Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.

It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
Large bags and backpacks must be checked in.
To enter the Vatican Museums, shoulders and knees must be covered.
We are unfortunately unable to accomodate guests with wheelchairs.
Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs on their own.
Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

Tour goes forward rain or shine! Your Vatican Tour may be cancelled for a full refund or may be switched to a different date/time as long as your request is received no later than 24 hours before your original departure time and date. Multiple changes are permitted. To request a cancellation or change of time/date, send an e-mail to info@ecoarttravel.com.

We were fortunate enough to be in a small group of only 7 people Our quide Alberto was very knowledge and spoke with great clarity and we were able yo hear his commentary perfectly clear even though the areas were very busy The cost does seem a lot but we found it to be money well spent and worthwhile

Thanks to Oscar for Once in a Lifetime Vatican MuseumSistine Chapel tour

The art and antiquities were breathtaking of course but our guide Oscar was fantastic and made the experience so enjoyable He was incredibly knowledgeable passionate and articulate It was like going on a tour with Indiana Jones He answered all of our questions and explained the significance and history of each piece as well as some humorous background stories that you could never find in a book He also provided personal details that made the experience even more memorable Thanks Oscar

Wonderful adventure through history excellent tour guide

Marcello was an excellent tour guide hes a great storyteller He broke down animated history to make you savour every word for the 3 hours that he narrated our journey through the Vatican Im really glad I chose to purchase this tour definitely felt a lot more engaged with learning about my surroundings than I would with any audio guide Having only 8 of us in a group was also very nice more intimate and engaging too It felt like a really charming adventure through time Thank you very much EcoArt Travel
